Why Bother?

As far as I can tell, I have gained nothing out of posting on social media. I just don't have what it takes to use such tools. No one I know has supported anything I have done. I have basically alienated myself from everyone in my life.

I'm likely about to go prison for 10 years, due to a miscarriage of justice. The fact that a D.A. and a Judge signed off on this case is a bad sign for the justice system here in Huntsville, AL. I'm charged with leaving the scene of an accident. My car got touched lightly by another car crossing into my lane. It was such a light touch I didn't know I had been hit until I got a call, days later, asking why I fled the scene. The hit barely took some paint off the passenger rear door and quarter panel.

I do not have the means to do anything more than show the images of my car and tell my story.

This is not an exhaustive list of the bad behavior of YouTubers based on my perspective:

• Using one of those same 5 music tracks or sound effects.
• ...it's better without music and sound effects.
• Using a laugh track
• that's a zombie media move
• Any use of fear-based physiological triggers to enhance your draw of views.
• 1940's mad scientist much?
• Paying for clicks, views, and reviews.
• I'm not here to defend the advertisers, yet you are cheating them too.
• Abuse of the audience.
• Exploiting people for clicks.
• Glorifying bad behavior.
• A lack of authenticity and the intentional use of it
• Representing yourself as something you are not to appeal to a trend and gain fame.
• Scamming
• Noteworthy:
• Crypto Scamming and Rug Pulling
• Silencing the audience.
• "Comments are turned off. Learn more"
• I get why Officials do it on live videos.
• They could repost after the live with comments on.
• This could also be an optionally used platform feature.
• Promoting Crypto

• Intentionally Lying
• Misleading Titles
• Misleading Information
• Jumping on trends for money
• You'll be more fulfilled providing an actual service or product that is good and doing work you enjoy doing.
• Bloat
• Can you imagine trying grade college essays?
• (I once got an A grade for what I still see as C grade work.)
• Front loading your opinion
• Bruh, facts first.
• Dude, I'm here for evidence. You can provide to commentary after.
• Self-made ads anywhere but at the end.
• You can promote newer ads before older ones. One who is diligent and careful with his mental diet doesn't want ads for ear-worms.
• We will remember our impression and interest of a product. We don't need to be mentally programmed.
• Not using self-made ads.
• Repetitious presentations.

• Intros (Yes, I know you love your unique intro.)
• Pathos demonstrated by cults.
• If I want to drill something into my head. I'll do it myself.
• I refuse to be Pavlov's Dog, where I can help it and I can mute your channel.
• Promoting products you don't use.

• If we like your channel and the quality of your presentation, we want to hear an authentic perspective.
• Appealing too much to sensitivities.
• As for me, I'm posting for adults who are willing to take on adult responsibilities. I'm not chasing numbers.
